The company I-Les Iskra specializes in producing three-layer cross-laminated timber. A three-layer wood panel is a cross-laminated timber made of solid wood, in which the outer layers of wood are from the same tree species, and the inner filling layer of wood can also be from another tree species. To make the filling layer, the elements are joined together in both width and length, while the outer layers run along the entire length.

Environmental care

In order to ensure the transparency of operations and traceability of the wood from it's owner to the end user, the company I-Les Iskra LLC. obtained a FSC® certificate, which is renewed each year under the supervision of international FSC® inspectors. FSC® is a global, non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of responsible forest management worldwide.

Three-layer panels

Three-layer panel is a cross-laminated solid wood panel consisting of three layers. Outer two layers are made of the same wood type, while the inner layer could be made of the different wood type. Elements of the inner layer are oriented at right angles to one another and then glued together, while the elements of outer layers are oriented and glued together at the same angle.

Why to choose three-layer cross laminated timber?

A cross-laminated solid wood panel is firmer and more resistant due to the way it is glued together and processed. It also meets the highest criteria of aesthetics and perfection. Our three-layer panels are primarily intended for specific furniture. All products can be FSC® Certified

Teak decking for Yachting program

TTectona Grandis, Teak for yacht decking

Tectona Grandis is native to south and southeast Asia (Indian teak, Indonesian teak, Malaysia, Thailand and Burma teak / Myanmar). First class teakdecking, used in various marine programs comes from Burma, that is why nowadays „Burma teak“ is a synonim for high quality teak. Its color is brownish yellow and over time it naturally weathers to a pleasing silver-grey, which serves as a natural protection.Although teak wood feels soft and gentle to the touch of a hand, yet its structure is very strong and firm. In addition to relatively high strength, teak wood is also highly resistant to rot and fungi. It also has a relatively low shrinkage ratio, which makes it excellent for applications where it undergoes periodic changes in moisture. Due to being easily worked and its other unusual properties, teak wood is mostly used in manufacture of outdoor furniture and is practically indispensable in yachting programs, especially boat decking. For some years now, our company has been cooperating with a few successful and prestige manufacturers of yachting programs, one of them being „ELAN Yachting“, which uses our 3-layer teak panel to produce boat deck tables and other elite yachts and boats interior and exterior.
