Vegan restaurant, ZaŽiv Vegan Bar is a small cafe and take-away street food, with choices of healthy vegan burgers, wraps, raw treats and choice of healthy teas. Our history is simple we are true in everything we do. In July 2015 we opened small vegan bar in Bled. All vege. We do not force anyone to change eating habits. We simply give a choice, an alternative. And we believe that small actions of one leads to greater changes in the world. Our food is full of love as every piece is made with culinary passion of our chief and there is much love in the air, too :)

WHAT IS VEGAN FOOD?

Vegans do not enjoy the food of animal origin, which include meat (land in water animals), milk and dairy products, eggs and honey. Like non-vegans including vegans enjoy soups, stews, fried vegetables, salads and similar. Enjoy such traditional dishes as well in vegan versions of popular foreign dishes, as pizza, tortillas, lasagna, burgers, grilled food, chilies casseroles, pancakes, waffles, sandwiches in a variety of desserts.
Vegan diet reduces the chances of developing many chronic diseases (diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, cancer, ...) and is suitable for people of all ages, including infants, children, teenagers, pregnant and nursing women, also athletes.
